Arendt has influenced me more than any other philosopher. She's all over my writing - and I use her continually in my teaching. Even last Thursday in a lesson on The Prelude, she popped up (though unnamed). I'd start with The Human Condition - it's life-changing - and then move onto The Origins of Totalitarianism.
