OK, let me get this straight. 'Crumblin' Erb', then 'Brown Sugar', then 'Got to Get You Into My Life'? All that's missin here is Sabbath's 'Sweet Leaf' and you're baked.
True, true, true .... My two absolute favourite cannabis tracks are 'Wrap Sumden' (Nelly) and 'High Times' (Cypress Hill). I'm nothing less than proud that I can rap those tunes word for word - but they were both on the Cannabis (I) playlist. And for some reason I put 'I Got Five On It' (Luniz) on last year's Halloween playlist because it fit the sound .... But if you're thinking about making a recipe from these songs, if you add some poona butter and some hemp-seed flour, I think you'd undoubtedly be baked!
I thought it was nuts - I've never wanted to work someplace less. The whole marking up the plate thing is insane and certainly stuck in a pre-digital world!
That's a great article. I haven't been in a Waffle House in over 25 years (and there's no equivalent here in England), but the memories came back like it was yesterday. That said, that 'mark' system is nothing short of strange. It's started to haunt me a bit!
What’s odd is that I have NEVER been to a Waffle House and now I have to go next time I’m near one. There’s a conspicuous absence of them here in the Pacific Northwest.
I'll never forget the interest which one of the builders working on my parents' extension had shown in a beautiful self-seeded plant beneath one of the bird feeders in our garden when I was a child. It was the spitting image of a cannabis plant, and every time the chap walked past it he would slow down to take a *really* good look. It wasn't *that* kind of plant, but industrial hemp - seeds of which can be found in some wild bird seed mixes - is a dead ringer for it! 🤣
That's great! My grandmother had a similar story - she was an avid gardener and planted a seed she found in her youngest son's bedroom (my uncle was a first year undergrad - it was the late 60s), just to see what it would do. And, well, it did VERY well - so well that he ended ripping it out of the ground as there was a little too much attention being paid! Very glad you liked the Stop!
I'll proceed with all haste.
I heard a story one time about a man who grew such plants near a mountain camp near Cold Mountain
Hmm. I think I know that story.

That Waffle House video is madness!!

There’s got to be a back story about the people who made this up and how it evolved ... I don’t think I know anything like it
This doesn’t answer our question, but it’s a fun read: https://www.bonappetit.com/restaurants-travel/article/24-hours-waffle-house

That's a back story I'd love to know. It's utterly bizarre.
A fascinating read, Bryan!

Oh, that's SO funny, Bryan!!!
You reap what you sow, right?! 😉🌱🤣
