It is an interesting history - far more to it than a Bus Stop allows! And as for the taste … I’d say the smell of liquorice and rubbing alcohol would give a good approximation. Seriously, if absinthe was the only alcoholic beverage around, I wouldn’t drink at all!
Wish I liked it, but absinthe just doesn’t do it for me! I’m also thinking 06:45 might be a bit early (unless you’re working the nightshift) ... though it’s always 18:00 somewhere, like right now where I am!

Absinthe is the favorite ingredient in what may be my favorite cocktail to make: the Sazerac. Is 6:45 AM too early?
