Bryan, if I had to nominate one “The Bus” piece as the singular best expression of your project, it would be this one. It so perfectly captures what I like about your “body of work”—and yeah, it is a body of work—and also what I think about life. Bravo! Well done. Fuck yeah.
Thanks for this, Tom - I really appreciate it! As an existentialist at heart (and an absurdist in my head), I enjoyed putting this one together - I'm just unsure why it took so long!
It's also rather strangely apropos - along with the other recently republished topics - as I'm about to park The Bus in its current guise for good. I've been driving this thing since April 2022 - I'm done with it and am about to drive it over the side of a cliff (jumping out at the last second, of course, so I can watch it burst into flames in the ravine below). Actually, I'm still keeping The Bus - but it's going to be in a different form. More information is coming next Thursday - I'd tell you know, but I've not decided what these changes will be!
